Ambulatory Transport is appropriate for individuals who are able to walk independently or with minimal assistance and do not require medical monitoring, medical interventions, or stretcher transport during transit. This service is intended for non-emergent medical needs where professional assistance and reliable transportation are required.
If a patient’s condition changes or is determined to be outside the scope of ambulatory transport, Guardian EMS may decline or discontinue service and recommend appropriate alternatives.
Guardian EMS requires payment authorization prior to services being rendered. Payment may be preauthorized by credit or debit card at the time of scheduling to ensure timely service and efficient processing.
For clients who prefer to be billed after service, Guardian EMS offers mailed invoicing with payment due upon receipt. Invoices issued after service are subject to a 15% administrative processing fee to cover billing and handling costs.
All pricing is reviewed and confirmed prior to service. Failure to remit payment may result in service delays or denial of future scheduling.

Guardian EMS’s Staff Return service is specifically designed for ambulance services looking to maximize unit availability and reduce unnecessary downtime.
When a paramedic, nurse, or other clinical staff member accompanies a patient to a hospital, ambulance agencies are often forced to take a unit out of service solely to return that staff member to their hospital, base or coverage area. This results in fewer available units, increased fuel and maintenance costs, and lost revenue from missed transports or delayed 911 response.
Guardian EMS eliminates that inefficiency. Our uniformed, EMS-certified personnel handle staff returns on your behalf, allowing your crews to clear the scene and immediately return to service. All transports are fully dispatched and documented, ensuring accountability and operational clarity.
This service is not simply transportation—it is a strategic support function that helps ambulance agencies increase daily call volume, reduce vehicle wear, and keep frontline resources in service where they are needed most.
You focus on patient care and response readiness. Guardian EMS keeps your personnel moving.

Guardian EMS provides dedicated Equipment Return and Delivery services to keep ambulance units stocked, compliant, and in service.
When EMS agencies borrow hospital equipment or leave EMS-owned equipment at a facility during patient care, units are often taken out of service to retrieve or return that equipment. This results in unnecessary downtime, increased mileage, and reduced response availability. Guardian EMS removes that operational burden.
Our uniformed, EMS-certified personnel handle the return of EMS-owned equipment, the return of borrowed hospital equipment, and the delivery of replacement equipment directly to ambulances as needed. We routinely assist with the transport of small, portable medical equipment, including—but not limited to—cardiac monitors, portable ventilators, IV pumps, portable oxygen cylinders, and other essential field equipment.
All equipment transports are fully dispatched and documented to ensure accountability and clear chain-of-custody. By managing equipment recovery and redistribution, Guardian EMS helps ambulance agencies maintain readiness without pulling frontline units out of service.
You keep responding. We keep your equipment moving.

Guardian EMS provides non-clinical lift assistance to support EMS and NEMT crews during patient movement and transfers.
Our Lift Assistance service is designed to provide additional trained manpower for physically demanding patient lifts, including transfers from bed to stretcher, stretcher to bed, navigating stairs, and loading patients into ambulances or transport vehicles. This service is intended to reduce injury risk, prevent delays, and improve scene efficiency for primary transport crews.
Guardian EMS personnel assist strictly with physical lifting and movement under the direction of the requesting crew. We do not provide patient assessment, medical decision-making, or clinical care as part of lift assistance. The primary EMS or NEMT crew retains full responsibility for patient care and transport.
By supplementing crews with reliable lift assistance, Guardian EMS helps agencies complete transfers safely, efficiently, and without pulling additional units out of service.
More hands. Less strain. Faster clears.

Guardian EMS provides scheduled Senior Check-Ins designed to support safety, awareness, and peace of mind for families when they cannot be present.
During a check-in, our EMS-certified professionals visit your family member’s home to ensure they are safe, oriented, and managing daily needs appropriately. While this service does not involve medical care or clinical treatment, our personnel are trained to recognize concerning conditions, environmental risks, and changes in routine that may indicate a developing issue.
We assist with basic, non-clinical needs during the visit—such as ensuring safe mobility within the home, identifying fall hazards, and confirming the individual is able to access necessities. Any concerns, observations, or notable changes are documented and communicated to designated family members or caregivers, allowing issues to be addressed early—before they escalate.
Senior Check-Ins are a preventive support service, not a substitute for medical care. They are designed to provide oversight, accountability, and reassurance through consistent, professional presence.
Extra eyes. Early awareness. Peace of mind.
